2010 Woman's Development Clinics- no clinic on July 18th. Next clinic- July 25!

The Marymoor Velodrome Association is proud to announce a woman's development focus for the 2010 track season. A total of eight training sessions will be held on various Sunday afternoons throughout the summer, designed to give women a foundation on which to become a successful track racer. These sessions are designed for women of all levels - from beginner to expert racers. Each session will have a proper warm up and move onto specific drills - from standing starts to flying 200m, from team pursuit to Madison practice.

See the listed dates below for samples of the specific skills we will be working on. Bring questions and other ideas about what you’d like to improve upon.

Come learn from the pros! Two time Olympian and World Champion Jennie Reed and Pan American silver medalist Julie Gregg, along with Jennifer Triplett, Tela Crane and other experienced track racers will be leading the sessions in a fun and supportive environment.

The cost is only $5 per person and will include rental bike if needed. The only requirement is that you have taken the introductory track class, (http://velodrome.org/mva/node/16) and come with an openness to learn. We look forward to seeing you out at the track and helping you become the track racer you always wanted to be!
