International Style Omnium State Championships- rescheduled date- September 11!

The International Omnium is the newest addition to the Olympic Track Racing Schedule. All riders must compete in five separate events held on a single day.

When: September 11, 2010
Time: 12pm start time (registration will be open from 11-11:40)
Categories: 1-3 Men and 1-4 Women
Entry Fee: $25
Prizes: $275/six deep- $100, 75, 50, 25, 15, 10 + State Championship medals to top 3 in each category
Field Limits: Field limits of 25 riders will be followed for all mass start events. The top 25 flying 200 times for men and women will advance to the scratch race- all other riders will be eliminated from the event.
Races (in competition order):

  • Flying 200 meter time trial
  • 15 Lap Scratch Race
  • Pursuit (2k for women, 3k for men)
  • Points Race (4x6 for women, 6x6 for men)
  • Individual Time Trial (500m for women, 1k for men)

All riders must start each event. Failure to start a race will result in a DNF for the event. The winner of each race will receive 1 point, second place 2 points, etc. The rider with the lowest number of points at the completion of all races will be the event winner.
